Spotted Eagle ray conservation and ecology
We're working to provide pertinent ecological information to conserve this iconic and poorly understood species across Florida and various regions of the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, and Bermuda. Current efforts include quantitative descriptions of the diet throughout Florida, being led by MS student Brianna Cahill, as well as delineation of nursery habitat and anthropogenic threats, led by PhD Student Ariadna Rojas Corzo.
